Delicious food in IndiaRestaurants

The dining experience at an upscale restaurant in Mumbai is more or less the same as anywhere else in the world. If you search hard enough, you will find cuisine from practically every part of the world represented in the city. But to get a real flavour of what's unique to Mumbai, you will have to go a little lower down the scale, and experience its street food and Irani cafes. That is what is described here. For an overview of all kinds of restaurants please take a look at this website

Currency

The currency in India is the Rupee, although you will find that major credit cards are accepted at most larger hotels and restaurants in major cities. Bank notes stay in circulation for a long time in India. Tipping is not customary in India except in the most up-market restaurants, and even then, it's a few rupees rather than a percentage of the bill. Use this currency converter to find out how much the rupee is worth in your currency.
